Personal Supports
Individualized support to build and keep independent living skills at home and in the community — from preparing meals to managing daily routines.
Lanham, Maryland
Bridgepoint is developing Personal Supports and Community Development Services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Maryland.

Everyone has their own idea of a good day — cooking a favorite meal, keeping up with a routine, visiting the library or spending time with people who share an interest. Bridgepoint is being built around those everyday choices.
Our planned services are designed for adults who want to grow practical skills, make their own decisions and take part in the community on their own terms, with support that fits.
Planned services
Individualized support to build and keep independent living skills at home and in the community — from preparing meals to managing daily routines.
Support to develop skills for community membership, social connection and self-advocacy through activities in ordinary community places.

Our person-centered approach
Preferences. We start by listening — to what you enjoy, how you like things done and what you want to work toward.
Abilities. Support builds on what you already do well, adding guidance only where it helps, so skills grow through practice in real routines.
Your plan. Services follow your person-centered plan and the supports authorized for you, developed with you, your chosen supporters and your Coordinator of Community Services.
